Artificial turf paving process guidance and recommendations

Quartz sand paving

(1) Sand filling process: Within the grass seedlings, the grass seedlings are fixed with quartz sand so that the grass seedlings do not fall down, and the sand is filled to within 1 cm of the remaining height of the grass seedlings. The rubber particles are laid on the surface of the grass seedlings and spread uniformly. Grass and seedlings must not be filled with rimmed sand. Prevent athletes from being hurt.

(2) Scatter in an artificial glyph when spreading.

(3) Quartz sand and rubber particles can be laid after the Artificial Turf material is installed.

(4) The laying of quartz sand is divided into a small area of one square meter or less with the concept of integral method, and then quartz sand with a nominal amount of 25% is filled in.

(5) The laying of quartz sand needs to be checked whether it is smooth and sufficient, and the shortage should be supplemented.

I. Any impurities found in the pavement should be immediately removed to ensure quality.

II. After the quartz sand paving is completed, it is necessary to use a brush with a hard brush back and forth to make the quartz sand fall fully dense.

III. Fill the quartz sand with rubber particles, which are applied in the same way as quartz sand.

One project measurement and lofting

(1) Check and acceptance of basic projects. Clear the debris in the foundation. If there is any inconvenience, repair and level it in time. Construction sites must be properly cleaned to ensure the cleanliness and construction quality of the environment. According to the rules of design drawings, perform measurement and stakeout.

(2) Using a steel tape measure, measure whether the surrounding facilities meet the size of the playground and make modifications if inappropriate.

(3) Shop pavement:

I. Laying non-woven fabrics along the length of the site. The arrangement direction should be 90 degrees to the arrangement direction of the lawn, and the non-woven fabrics should be firmly bonded.

II. Determine the course line according to the length and width of the drawings. After the self-checking, the lines must be straight.

III. Lay the Synthetic Turf on the non-woven fabric according to the original stone specifications. The turf needs to be overlapped by 3-8mm.

IV. The overlapped turf is cut flush with a cutting knife. Seams should be no more than 3mm.

V. Lay the seam cloth under the cutting area and brush the joint glue on the joint surface. Touch it and dry it.

Second lawn bonding process

Preparation before bonding:

I. The surface of the Artificial Grass to be bonded, the non-woven fabric, the joint cloth, etc. must be cleaned and the surface dry without moisture. II. The ambient temperature should be selected to be suitable for construction above 5°C. Furthermore, construction should not be conducted under rain and rainy weather, otherwise it may lead to excessive bonding time or even cause non-sticking phenomenon.

Specific construction process:

(1) Gluing: It is required to use a brush to brush on the surface with a uniform thickness. Do not apply glue repeatedly, otherwise blistering may occur or even drop. The bottom cloth is coated with glue, and the thickness of the glue is strictly controlled. Note that the speed of glue application should be appropriate, and the glue should be applied to the two bonded surfaces respectively.

(2) Adhesion: Reasonably control the open time according to the actual influence of temperature, humidity, air pressure and other conditions at that time. Generally within 10-30 minutes after the glue is applied, it is advisable that the glue should reach 89% dry to be touch-tacked. Bonding requires one-time alignment and adhesion. Do not move the bonded object back after bonding.

(3) Pressurization: After bonding, remove the surface debris and use a special rubber mallet to hammer hard from both sides of the bond to make the surface fully dense and secure.

(4) Curing: The curing time is generally three days, and the final strength of the test is generally ten days. Therefore, it is necessary to pay close attention to its maintenance during curing, to avoid excessive exposure to light, water immersion and movement in order to achieve the best state of adhesion.

(5) After bonding, the turf-cut pieces of the site shall be cleaned before the quartz sand and rubber particles are scattered.

Lawn pavement proposal

After the turf arrives at the scene, it must be placed neatly and heavy pressure is strictly forbidden so as to avoid folding and deformation of the lawn.

The joint seam of turf should not be less than 20cm;

The use of round quartz without sand, it is recommended that the diameter of quartz sand should be 0.2-1.0mm;

Adhesive glue should use good synthetic rubber fastness;

One week after the site is laid, it is delivered for use, allowing the glue to adhere;

Do not apply under rainy days and under minus 5 degrees.

Lawn Instructions

Artificial turf should be used under normal sports

1. It is forbidden to wear 9mm spiked shoes to run on the lawn;

2. It is forbidden for any motor vehicle to drive on the lawn;

3. Prohibit heavy objects from being pressed on the lawn for a long time;

4. Prohibit shot puts, javelins, discus or other high-falling sports on the lawn;

5. In case of snow, it is forbidden to step on it immediately. The surface of the snow should be cleaned before use.
